The Phelan Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is a nine-member volunteer board made up of community business owners, organization leaders and individuals. They provide guidance and counsel at the highest level towards achieving the mission of the Phelan Chamber of Commerce.

Don Fish Jr. is the publisher/editor of the Tri-Community NewsPlus, a monthly newspaper serving the communities of Phelan, Pinon Hills, Wrightwood, and the surrounding areas. He has been a local small business owner for over 20 years. He has served as a director of the Phelan Chamber of Commerce since 2014. Mr. Fish is also a Tri-Community Kiwanis Board Member, and a member of the Snowline Community Cabinet. Don was the chairman of Phelan Phamily Phun Days from 2017 through 2019 and has recently received recognition as the Phelan Citizen of the Year. Mr. Fish believes the youth of our community is its most valuable asset. He actively participates in organizations which support youth leadership, personal growth, and career development such as the Serrano FFA Alumni & Supporters, Serrano FFA Advisory Committee, and both the Snowline Career Technical Education Advisory Committee and Regional Career Technical Education Advisory Committee. Don has been living in Phelan since 1983, which gives him a unique perspective of the community, having seen it grow and change over the years. This community is important to him, and he strives to promote and support the rural lifestyle, the people, and businesses of the area.
