This Month's Guest Speaker:

KIMBERLY MESSEN • District Director for Supervisor Paul Cook

Kimberly will be introducing the new staff for First District Supervisor Col. Paul Cook (ret.)'s office and answering any questions Chamber members may have.

Kimberly Mesen has lived in Victorville her entire life, moving to the high desert with her parents when she was just 2-years old. She graduated from Victor Valley High and attended Cal State San Bernardino, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Political Science.

After receiving her degree, she took a job with then-Representative Paul Cook serving as his Veteran Services director. Mesen most recently ran for a seat on the Victorville City Council. "My experience working for Congressman Cook and dealing with the issues like homelessness, crime, and economic development have taught me how these problems are created, and how they can be solved," said Mesen when asked why she was running for office.

While her run for city council was unsuccessful, it paved the way for her new position with now San Bernardino County First District Supervisor Col. Paul Cook (ret.) as his District Director.
